The Moonlight Serenade Orchestra UK was formed in 2003 following a conversation in a crowded pub late at night between two slightly inebriated musicians. The general idea was along the old Mickey and Judy ‘hey kids, lets put on a show in a barn' premise- the only problems being there was no barn and these guys were definitely NOT kids!

Skip forward a couple of months and the initial two have become a rather large 14 piece professional, passionate, swinging big band orchestra dedicating most of their weekends to sharing the greatest music (in their opinion of course) in the world with anyone who would listen, preferably paying at the same time.  The Moonlight Serenade Orchestra UK went out on the road in a series of mini tours playing in theatres from Fleetwood to Margate and back again, detouring to Scotland on the way - Geography was never a strong point with these boys.

Having taken time out to do other non music-related less important things in life (marriage, kids, Masters Degrees etc) as well as widen their musical horizons in various shows, jazz bands and village fetes the boys are back, older but not much wiser and still swinging!
